ZixGateway allows you to send a custom email message similar to this one to the original sender:
| The email message you sent contains Personal Health Information (PHI). The message cannot be sent as the subject line cannot be encrypted. Please remove the PHI from the subject line and re-send it. |
Inbound allows you to send a custom email message to the original sender and to your ZixGateway administrator. For example, you may send an email message similar to this one to the original external sender:
| An email that you sent to zixcustomer.com contains information that does not comply with ZixCustomer’s corporate policies (security or otherwise) for transmission over the Internet. ZixCustomer requires that email messages that contain personal information be sent encrypted. |
Additionally, you may send an email message similar to this one to a designated internal administrator:

An email message sent to zixcustomer.com contains information that does not comply with ZixCustomer’s corporate policies (security or otherwise) for transmission over the Internet. To ensure proper corporate follow-up, the email message in question is included as an attachment to this notification. |
